It's that time of year again ... when I try and hide from Mary and the Teachers! Yup, it's school photo time!

Around 8 years ago, we got the local photographer to come and take all the school pics - and they were terrible! There were wires sticking out of the kids heads and he took no thought of the background. The next year ... worse! It was raining, so he took them inside the classroom next to the toilet!!!!

I was not a happy man and told Mary that even I could do better than that ... and guess what the great lady said? Yup, from 2004 I was the new official school photographer! At least I put some thought into where we would take the photos.
I was glad when Keith Pointon arrived for a couple of years with his flashy camera ... he became the man behind the flash. But this year ... it's back to me again. I knew when I got my Nikon D5000 that I had nowhere to run!

Anyway, they turned out really good. Can you spot some kids you know? It was a scorcher of a day and I took 14 classes + parents + teachers (they really are a bunch of posers!) ... all from 8am - 3pm! All the kids were smiling under the shade - but I stood in the sun (music please) and at night I had sunstroke! When I picked up my mum next day she thought her son had turned into a lobster!

The things they never told me at Bible School ...
