~ SVCS Sports Day Beefed Up ~
Deafening cheers and yells of the children, teachers, parents and visitors signaled the opening of the Sefton Village Christian School Sports Day on October 17, 2009.
There were four competing teams namely: Yellow Sunshine under Ms. Lerma Valenzuela and Mrs. Jovie Pacleba; Blue Ocean under Mrs. Rosemarie Feliciano and Mrs. Leilanie Cauilan; Green Forest under Ms. MarryLour Eduarte and Ms. Jennifer Tindugan; and Red Lava under Ms. Julie Ann Lacanaria and Mrs. Rosalina Fabrez.
The parents competed also on the 500 meters run relay. Moreover, a Mass Demonstration from all of the pupils was witnessed to entertain everybody.
After the different activities, points were tallied and the Yellow Sunshine came out to be the Champion, Green Forest as the 1st Runner-up, Blue Sunshine as the 2nd Runner-up, and Red Lava as the 3rd Runner-up.
Tired with all the fun-filled activities we are sure that all of us enjoyed it so much!
