It is a great privilege given by God to be able to sow into a child’s life and to see the children dedicate their young lives to God.
April 2005 marked the start of teaching values education through Daily Vacation Bible School (DVBS) at Sinili, Santiago City. Sixty to seventy children were gathered to attend and participate in this event. Barangay Sinili is one of the villages in Santiago where majority of the population are young people and children. The main occupation of their parents is farming, but most of them are tenants and do not have a farm of their own.

From this initial gathering of children, we eventually organized and established a club which we call the POWERHOUSE KIDS CLUB.
The POWERHOUSE KIDS CLUB or PHKC was launched last November 2005 and was also opened in some villages of the city. Once a month, we gather the children coming from the different barangays of the city, which include the Barangay or village of Sinili, at Sefton Village to be involved in the activity of the Powerhouse Kids Club and be able to gain knowledge and know the will of the Lord.
This club aims to give a powerful impact in our city, to make JESUS famous and let everyone know that He is a living God, a God who reach out, touch and change people’s lives.

Aside from the POWERHOUSE KIDS CLUB, we also have a once a month feeding program in the elementary school at Barangay Sinili. We also aim to focus on the physical well- being and social aspect of the lives of the children.
The ministry in Sinili is now on its fourth year and last 27th of September 2008, we finally and formally launched Cornerstone Church Sinili in this place. More or less 70 people attended the launching. Now, we have a regular Sunday service at 9:00 in the morning and youth meeting and prayer meeting every Saturday. We have an average members of 7 adults, 10 young people, and 15 children.
