Cornerstone Church Echague, Pangal Norte, Echague, Isabela

• Cornerstone Church Pangal has been a fruit of prayer and call of distress. Like the call in Acts 16:9 "Come over to Macedonia and help us." When Cornerstone Church Santiago was started, there are members attending who came from Pangal asking help to extend the ministry of Cornerstone in their place.
  
  

We surveyed the place, did follow-ups and bible studies and eventually started regular Sunday House Church service. From two families, the church grew in number and more families were saved and became committed members of the church. When the house is already too small for us, God provided a school for our regular Sunday service. From church tithes, offerings and pledges, we were able to buy a 300 sq. m lot for church. It took us three years in this pioneering stage.



November 23, 2008 was the date of official opening of Cornerstone Church Echague, Pangal Norte, Echague, Isabela. And last November 29, 2009, we celebrated our 1st Anniversary and Dedication of the new church building.

The funds used for the church building came from the church pledges, UK and Filipino friends, Cornerstone Churches, Assembly of God Churches and Pastors. The manual labour for building the church was mostly done voluntarily by the men from the church.
During the anniversary and dedication, Rev. Mark Ritchie spoke to us about the building of the temple by David and Solomon. This is also our prayer to our new Cornerstone Church Building:
1. A place of God’s Glory,
2. A place of Worship,
3. A place of Sacrifice,
4. A place of celebration,
5. A place of fulfilment of God’s promises, and
6. A place of answered prayers

As a pastor of this new congregation, God put in my heart this verse from the scripture:

"As for Me," says the LORD, "this [is] My covenant with them: My Spirit who [is] upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants’ descendants," says the LORD, "from this time and forevermore." (Isa 59:21 NKJV)

•Church that gives reverence to God and obedient to God’s Word
•A place to see the power of God’s grace, mercy, love and the Holy Spirit to lead a person to repentance, faith, transformation and life to the fullest
•A house of prayer that develops intimacy with Jesus and a lifestyle of worship.
•A glorious church that gives room for the Holy Spirit and be a place of His habitation.
•To disciple, train, equip, and mobilize members to evangelize that leads to church planting
